Playwright and actor
As a playwright, Annie’s work has been performed by act2studioWORKS and at the Women At Play(s) 6 Festival, Alumnae’s New Ideas Festival, and online for the Hamilton Fringe and for the National Arts Centre’s #Canadaperforms.
A member of the Playwrights Guild of Canada, Annie has studied playwriting for six years through classes and workshops at ACT II STUDIO (Chang School, TMU University), with faculty including Beverley Cooper, Cate Frid, Raymond Storey and Alexander Offord. She is a member of the Alumnae Theatre Company’s New Play Development group.

As an actor, Annie created the roles of Aristophanes in A Lysistrata (2023) and the Lion in Thisbe and the Lion (2024), both for act2studioWORKS. She played four roles in String of Pearls (Alumnae Theatre Company, 2023). Other onstage roles in act2 productions include The Bastard (King John), Luce/Dr. Pinch (Comedy of Errors), and Michelle Wall/Zoe (Museum). Annie acted online in her own plays Lizard Season (NAC’s #CanadaPerforms, 2020) and Waiting for Mark (NIF online, Hamilton Fringe, 2020).
